Dr. Charles Gossett (Political Science, Cal Poly Pomona) and Dr. Gregory Lewis (Public Administration and Urban Studies, Georgia State University) have published an article, "Changing Public Opinion on Same-Sex Marriage: The Case of California" in Politics & Policy, Volume 36, No. 1 (2008): 4-30. The article is based on research made possible by The Field Fellowship. An earlier paper based on the same research, "Explaining Rising Support for Same-Sex Marriage in California," presented at the 2007 annual meeting of the Western Political Science Association, has won the Charles Redd Award for Best Paper on the Politics of the American West for 2007.
